Unrequited Love Coaching Policy

Welcome to the Questions and Tisane Unrequited Love Coaching Policy! I’m Ashley Cantave, and I’m excited to begin working with you as an unrequited love coach.

In order to best serve you, I want to make sure we’re on the same page about a few things. This policy is an agreement between you (the “client”) and me (the “coach”) so we’re both aware of our rights and responsibilities throughout the coaching process.

How It Works

My coaching services are for people 18 years and older. If you’re younger than 18 years of age, I can’t work with you as a coach.

If you are 18 or older and interested in working with me, start by filling out the form here so I have a better idea of your particular situation. We can then schedule a free 20-minute consultation to take place over Google Chat or by phone. I’ll let you choose which one you would prefer to use.

During that consultation, I’ll get a better feel for whether we’re a good fit for each other. And if I think we are and you would like to become a client, I’ll help you decide which of my “Coaching Services” is right for you (see below). After you decide, I’ll send you an invoice through PayPal for the then current price of the service you select.

The invoice must be paid before I can begin coaching you. If your coaching session or messaging period comes and I haven’t yet received any form of payment from you, I’ll cancel the invoice and ask if you would like to reschedule (more on this in the “Payment Policy” section below).

Note: Phone calls are currently only available to people in the US. All coaching sessions that take place over Google Chat will require a Google account, as will all messaging periods.

Coaching Services

There are currently two coaching services you can choose from:

  • 50-minute session over Google Chat or by phone

    • The 50-minute session will be scheduled sometime during my coaching hours, which are Monday-Friday 1pm-5:30pm EST, excluding major US holidays (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

    • The day before your session, I’ll send you an email reminding you of the date and time. Then, at the time of the session, I’ll send you a message or call you on the phone number you provided (or an alternate number, if you prefer) and we can continue from there.

  • Unlimited online messaging through Google Chat for one (1) week (7 days)

    • The one-week (7-day) period begins on the first Saturday after payment has been received. I’ll send you an email to confirm the beginning of the period. From that Saturday until 5:30pm EST on the following Friday, you can send me as many messages as you like. I’ll respond to them during my coaching hours: Monday-Friday 1pm-5:30pm EST, excluding major US holidays (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

    • If a coaching day happens to fall on a major US holiday, we’ll make up for it by adding one more workday for coaching (i.e. if a holiday is on a Wednesday, instead of the coaching period ending the upcoming Friday at 5:30pm, it will end instead on the following Monday at 5:30pm). One workday before the last day of the messaging period, I’ll send you a reminder email letting you know that the period will be ending the following workday. I’ll also send another email to confirm the end of the period.

Payment Policy

When you agree to schedule a paid coaching session or messaging period, I’ll send you an invoice through PayPal for the cost. You can pay anytime before the session or period takes place. If your session or period arrives and I haven’t yet received any form of payment, I’ll cancel the invoice and ask if you would like to reschedule.

Please note that when you submit a payment, you’re agreeing to this Unrequited Love Coaching Policy and the Privacy Policy. Please read them before submitting a payment. And also know that, although I’ll be the one working with you, you’ll be submitting your payment to my company Questions and Tisane, LLC.

Note: PayPal is a third-party payment processor. Other than the fee you pay, I don’t handle payment or billing information, and I’m not responsible for PayPal’s policies or privacy practices. I encourage you to read PayPal’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy before submitting a payment.

Refund Policy

This is the refund policy for 50-minute coaching sessions:

  • If for any reason you’re unable to attend a coaching session, you can cancel anytime before the session for a full refund. Also, if you’ve already paid for a session but fail to attend it without canceling, your full payment will be refunded.

  • No refunds will be offered after a 50-minute session takes place.

This is the refund policy for one-week messaging periods:

  • If for any reason you’re unable to participate in your messaging period, you can cancel anytime before it begins for a full refund. Also, if you’ve already paid for your messaging period but it goes by without me receiving any messages from you, your full payment will be refunded.

  • If you cancel your messaging period anytime before 5:30pm EST on the fourth day after it begins (the first day is Saturday), you’ll be refunded 50% of what you paid for the period. (Holidays and missed workdays don’t count.) No refunds will be given after that fourth day at 5:30pm. (But, again, if no messages are exchanged during your messaging period, you’ll receive a full refund.)

To request a refund, simply send me an email at ashleyc@questionsandtisane.com, and I’ll refund your payment to you.

Cancellation

You can cancel a session or messaging period at any time for any reason. If you cancel a 50-minute session, I’ll ask if you would like to reschedule. If so, we’ll reschedule. If not, you’ll receive a refund in accordance with the “Refund Policy” above.

If you cancel a one-week messaging period, I’ll ask if you would like to reschedule. If so, we’ll reschedule. If not, you’ll receive a refund in accordance with the “Refund Policy.”

Though I will try my best to be present for every session, if for some reason I need to cancel one, I’ll do so before the session and ask if you would like to reschedule. If so, we’ll reschedule. If not, I’ll give you a full refund.

If I have to miss a day of coaching during the one-week messaging period, I’ll let you know in advance and make up for it by adding one more workday for coaching. Please see the “Coaching Services” section above for more information about adding an extra workday of coaching to an unlimited messaging period. And if I need to cancel a messaging period, I’ll let you know and give you a full refund (see the “Disclaimer” below for more information).

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to me. Any information you share with me will be handled according to the Questions and Tisane Privacy Policy. Additionally, I will never disclose the details of our consultation, sessions, or messaging periods with anyone unless I have your permission or am legally obligated to do so.

To further protect your privacy, if you’ve chosen to use Google Chat, I will delete our chat from my Google account sixty (60) days after the last message has been exchanged (this includes consultations). If you become a client and for any reason you don’t have a copy of your session(s) or messages but would like one, please let me know before that 60-day period has elapsed.

If you’ve chosen to communicate by phone, I’ll delete your number from my phone sixty (60) days after our last phone call. (If you choose not to sign up for a paid coaching service, I’ll delete your number right away.)

However you choose to communicate, I will keep your completed coaching application form in case you decide to become a client or purchase another service in the future. If you would like me to delete your completed application, please let me know.

Updates

From time to time, I may update this Unrequited Love Coaching Policy. The most current version will always be posted here and indicated by the “Effective Date” above. Please check back frequently to see if any changes have been made. I’ll notify you of any material changes with a notice at the top of this policy and through email, but I get to decide which changes qualify as “material.” If you continue to use the coaching services after the “Effective Date,” you’re agreeing to the new policy.

Disclaimer

Coaching is not a substitute for professional counseling or therapy. If you’re in need of either of these services, please see a qualified professional. When you send me a completed coaching application form, I’ll let you know whether I think professional counseling or therapy would be better for you. I’ll also let you know whether I think a different coach or service would be better suited to your needs.

And if, in the course of a session or messaging period, I feel that counseling, therapy, or another service would be better for you, I’ll let you know. If this happens during a messaging period, I’ll cancel it and give you a full refund.

I offer no guarantees as a result of using my coaching services. I’m only here to offer the best information and guidance I can to help you in your particular situation. It’s up to you to decide how you use the information and guidance I give you. And even if you do follow my advice, I still offer no guarantees. The most I can say is that I will listen mindfully and without judgment to what you share with me and give you the best advice I can for your situation. The rest is in your hands.
