About Unrequited Love Coaching

Does any of the following apply to you?

  • You have strong feelings for a crush who doesn’t feel the same about you.

  • You have unrequited love for a friend and you’d like to move on.

  • You find that most or all of your crushes are unrequited and you don’t know why.

If any of this resonates, let me reassure you. You’re most definitely not the first one to have these kinds of experiences. But if you would like help moving on from unrequited love, I might just be the coach for you.

The Unfinished Nature of Unrequited Love

I know from personal experience how hard it can be to move on from unrequited love. There’s something so unfinished about it. There’s always this sense of, “Maybe they’ll come back” or “Maybe they’ll change their mind.” And so, if you find it hard to let go of the hope that things will change, you might also find it challenging to move on from unrequited crushes.

It might seem impossible to you today that you’ll ever be able to let this crush go. I imagine you spend most, if not all, your waking hours thinking about this person, longing for them, wishing they would return your love or wishing that your circumstances were different so you could be together.

I actually think it’s nice to have someone to love, even if your love is unrequited. So, it’s not necessary for you to let go of an unrequited crush if you don’t have to. If they give you something to look forward to or if thoughts of them fill your days with joy or if there actually is the potential for you to be together someday, you might not want to let go just yet.

But if you want to be free to love someone new or if this crush is causing you more pain than joy, you’ll probably want to move on. Impossible as it may seem to do that, I’m here to tell you it is possible. I’ve done it many times, even for crushes that lasted several years. And I can help you do it, too.

My Approach to Unrequited Love Coaching

I’ve found that unrequited love happens for a reason. But the reason will likely be different for everyone. With compassion, depth, and a nonjudgmental approach, I help clients uncover the true reason their feelings are unrequited and help them find the strength to move on. I do this through self-discovery work, creative self-expression, journaling, and action-oriented assignments.

I also listen mindfully to everything clients share so that I can hear both what they are saying and what they’re not saying. Both are important for helping them with the moving on process.

Whether you’re crushing on a friend, a coworker, a celebrity, a stranger, or someone in a relationship, I can help you find the strength and courage to let go so you’re prepared to embrace reciprocal love.
