Narrative Correction
Welcome to the other side of the daydream.
If you’re tired of using unrequited love to shield yourself from an unfulfilling reality, this Narrative Correction will empower you to take back control of your life.
A powerful rewrite of the story you’ve been telling yourself.
If you’re tired of using unrequited love to shield yourself from an unfulfilling reality, this Narrative Correction will empower you to take back control of your life.
You may not want to admit it to yourself. But deep down you know.
You’ve been using one-sided love as an escape.
When your life feels stagnant, unfulfilling, or out of alignment with your true self, your subconscious can do something incredibly clever to protect you. It can invent a beautiful distraction.
Unrequited love gives you all the emotion of an intense romance. But because your crush isn’t reciprocating your feelings, it ensures that nothing in your real life ever has to change.
As long as you’re trying to interpret their mixed signals or waiting for them to figure out how right you are for each other, you don’t have to examine your own lack of fulfillment.
As long as you’re waiting for them to choose you, you can delay the terrifying (but empowering) work of choosing yourself.
It’s exhausting to carry the weight of a romance that doesn’t go anywhere. But you aren’t stuck because you love them too much. You’re stuck because you’ve been using them to hide from your own life.
The fantasy has served its purpose. Now let’s focus on reality.
A Narrative Correction is a powerful rewrite of the story you’ve been telling yourself, delivered entirely in writing. This isn’t relationship coaching or advice on how to move on from a crush. This is a deep dive into your personal narrative.
After you fill out the Narrative Correction Questionnaire, I’ll use your responses to analyze where you’ve made yourself a side character in your own story and empower you to become the main character.
How It Works
You won’t have to sit through any awkward conversations or explain yourself in video calls for me to do this analysis. To begin correcting your narrative, you’ll start by filling out the Narrative Correction Questionnaire. It’s a series of questions that will allow you to provide information about your crush, your history, your habits, your patterns, your struggles, your values, and your ideal vision for a future life.
You’ll fill out this form before making a payment. As soon as you click the “ADD TO CART” button, the questionnaire will appear.
After you submit your questionnaire (and payment), within five business days I’ll email a Narrative Correction back to you as an attachment. (For example, if you submit your questionnaire and payment on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, I’ll send you the document no later than the following Friday.)
The document will be in the form of a beautifully designed 10-15 page PDF. This PDF will include details you’ve provided, along with a profound shift. You won’t be the disempowered side character anymore, content to just watch things happen or wait for things to change on their own.
Instead, you’ll be the hero who comes to your own rescue. You’ll find solutions to your challenges. You’ll overcome obstacles that may be keeping you from feeling fulfilled. And most importantly, you’ll be living a life you won’t feel the need or desire to escape from.
An Example of a Narrative Correction
Here’s an example of a story you might be telling yourself before a Narrative Correction:
“My crush is the only bright spot of my day. When I’m not with them or when I don’t see them, I think about them all the time. I don’t think they would ever want to enter a relationship with me, but I love the feelings I get when we interact or when I think about them. Everything else in my life feels bland.”
And here’s the story after a Narrative Correction:
“My work used to be very unfulfilling to me. And rather than do the hard work of figuring out what I really wanted to be doing, I put most of my energy into a one-sided crush. But once I stopped focusing so much on them and started looking inward, I realized that creativity is really important to me. The job I had wasn’t allowing me to be creative. So, I started searching for a career that would be more satisfying to me.
“When I began spending time doing research and learning new skills, I found that I didn’t have as much emotional energy for my crush anymore. Even that change added meaning and enjoyment to my life. I no longer felt such a strong desire to escape. Instead, I was enjoying the thrill of working toward a career that gives me a sense of purpose.
“I also realized that I had limiting beliefs about my ability to find work that felt fulfilling to me. It was easier to focus on someone else rather than apply myself to looking for other ways to invest my passion and energy. But once I realized that the options for getting paid for creative work were numerous, I refused to stop the search until I found work that truly made me happy.
“Now I have my own creative business, and it fills me with a sense of purpose. I get to work on my own schedule and choose which projects I take. Every day is an adventure to me. I have no desire to escape my life anymore. And I’m currently in a reciprocal relationship with a wonderful person.”
Get a Narrative Correction, and this kind of story alteration could be yours. And in addition to correcting your story, I’ll also highlight specific areas you might want to work on if you would like to start making that new narrative your reality.
And remember that this PDF is a document you can keep forever. That means you can refer back to it whenever you want to remind yourself of how powerful you are and how capable you are of building a life that feels happy, fun, and fulfilling to you.
