Spiritual Coaching Policy
Effective Date: June 9, 2025
Welcome to the Questions and Tisane Spiritual Coaching Policy! I’m Ashley Cantave, and I’m excited to begin working with you as your spiritual coach.
In order to best serve you, I want to make sure we’re on the same page about a few things. This policy is an agreement between you (the “client”) and me (the “coach” or “spiritual coach”) so we’re both aware of our rights and responsibilities throughout the coaching process.
How It Works
My coaching services are for people 18 years and older. If you’re younger than 18 years of age, I can’t work with you as a coach.
If you are 18 or older and interested in working with me, start by filling out the application here so I have a better idea of your particular situation. After I receive your application, I’ll respond to let you know whether I think we’re a good fit for each other.
If I think we are, we can schedule a free 50-minute session to take place over Google Meet or by phone. (I’ll let you choose which one you would prefer to use.) During that session, I’ll help you get to the root of your spiritual crisis or difficulty and how you can start resolving it. You’ll also get a feel for my coaching process. If you enjoy the session and would like to move forward, I’ll invite you to sign up for a paid coaching package.
After you choose your price plan, I’ll send you an invoice through PayPal for the then current price of the service. The cost must be paid before I can begin coaching you. Day 1 of the package is the day of your first session. The end of the package will be eighty-nine (89) calendar days later (ninety (90) days total).
Note: Phone calls are currently only available to people in the US. You don’t need a Google account to use Google Meet, but you do need one to use Google Chat.
Spiritual Coaching Package
I’m currently offering a three-month (90-day) Spiritual Coaching Package. Here’s what the package will include:
One 50-minute Spiritual Coaching session every week through Google Meet or by phone
Every week, I’ll schedule a 50-minute Spiritual Coaching session with you to discuss your answers to the journal prompts from the previous session or anything else you feel like discussing. For each session, you can decide whether you would like to do a Google Meet meeting or a phone call (if phone calls are available for you).
The sessions will be scheduled sometime during my coaching hours, which are Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-5:30pm EST, excluding major US holidays (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
The day before your session, I’ll send you an email reminding you of the date and time. Then, at the time of the session, I’ll send you a message or call you on the phone number you provided (or an alternate number, if you prefer) and we can continue from there.
Assignments following every session
After every coaching session, I’ll email you a few journal prompts or related assignments to complete before your next session. While it’s up to you whether or not you do them, I strongly advise you to do them because they’ll help you make progress on your spiritual journey and keep track of the progress you’ve made. And if you don’t have time to write out your answers somewhere (even digitally), I would encourage you to at least take time to reflect on them.
Please let me know if you’re having issues completing any of the assignments. The sooner you let me know, the sooner we can make adjustments.
Unlimited messaging through Google Chat
When we’re not in a session, I still want to be able to offer you support. That’s why I invite you to send me as many messages as you like through Google Chat. I’ll respond to them during my coaching hours.
Email support
You can also email me anytime during your package, and I’ll respond during my coaching hours.
Payment Policy
When you agree to pay for a coaching package, I’ll send you an invoice through PayPal for the cost. The cost must be paid before we can schedule your first session. The sooner you send your payment, the sooner we can get started with coaching. You don’t have to have a PayPal account to pay the invoice.
Please note that when you submit a payment, you’re agreeing to this Spiritual Coaching Policy and the Privacy Policy. Please read them before submitting a payment. And also know that, although I will be the one working with you as a coach, you’ll be making a payment to my company Questions and Tisane, LLC.
Note: PayPal is a third-party payment processor. I’m not responsible for PayPal’s policies or privacy practices. I encourage you to read PayPal’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy before submitting a payment.
Cancellation
You can cancel your coaching package at any time for any reason. If you do cancel, you’ll receive a refund in accordance with the “Refund Policy.” If you need to reschedule a coaching session, just let me know in advance and we can reschedule.
If you’ve scheduled a Google Meet session and the time comes and you’re not in the meeting, I’ll wait ten minutes. After that, we’ll have to reschedule. Unfortunately, I can’t extend meeting times if you don’t arrive on time, but we can try to make up for any missed time through messaging or email.
If you’ve scheduled a coaching phone call and you don’t answer the first time, I’ll call again. If you still don’t answer, we’ll have to reschedule the session.
Though I will try my best to be present for every session and to respond to messages in a timely fashion, if for any reason I need to reschedule a session or take a break in responding to messages during coaching hours, I’ll let you know in advance. I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
And if I have to cancel the package for any reason, I’ll let you know and give you a full refund. (See the “Disclaimer” below for more information.)
Refund Policy
If you pay for the package in full, you’ll receive a full refund if you cancel anytime during the first 30 days of your package. (Day 1 begins the day of your first session.) If you cancel anytime during the first 60 days of your package, you’ll be refunded 50% of what you paid. No refund will be given after the first 60 days.
If you pay for the package in installments, you’ll receive a full refund for your most recent payment if you haven’t attended any sessions within that month. If you’ve attended at least one session within the month you’ve paid for, no refund will be given for that month.
To request a refund, simply send me an email at ashleyc@questionsandtisane.com, and I’ll refund your payment to you.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is very important to me. Any information you share with me will be handled according to the Questions and Tisane Privacy Policy. Additionally, I will never disclose the details of our sessions or message exchanges (email or chat) with anyone unless I have your permission or am legally obligated to do so.
To further protect your privacy, if you’ve chosen to use Google Chat, I will delete our chat from my Google account sixty (60) days after the last message has been exchanged. If you become a client and for any reason you don’t have a copy of the messages but would like one, please let me know before that 60-day period has elapsed.
If you’ve chosen to communicate by phone, I’ll delete your number from my phone sixty (60) days after our last phone call. (If you choose not to sign up for a package, I’ll delete your number right away.)
However you choose to communicate, I will keep your completed coaching application form in case you decide to become a client or purchase another package or service in the future. If you would like me to delete your completed application, please let me know.
Updates
From time to time, I may update this policy. The most current version will always be posted here and indicated by the “Effective Date” above. Please check back frequently to see if any changes have been made. I’ll notify you of any material changes with a notice at the top of this policy and through email. But I get to decide what changes qualify as “material.” If you continue to use the coaching services after the “Effective Date,” you’re agreeing to the new policy.
Disclaimer
Spiritual coaching is not a replacement for professional counseling or therapy. If you’re in need of either of these services, please see a qualified professional. After you send me a completed application, when I respond I’ll let you know whether I think a different coach or service would be better suited to your needs.
And if, in the course of coaching, I feel that a different coach or service would be better for you, I’ll let you know. I’ll also cancel the package and give you a full refund.
I offer no guarantees as a result of using my coaching services. My job as your coach is to offer the best information and guidance I can to help you in your particular situation. It’s up to you to decide how you use the information and guidance I give you. And even if you do follow my advice, I still offer no guarantees. The most I can say is that I will listen mindfully and without judgment to what you share with me and give you the best advice I can for your situation. The rest is in your hands.
