Do You Enjoy Rereading Your Favorite YA Romance Books? Here’s a Twist You Might Like

If you like rereading YA romance books, one reason might be because you like to revisit your favorite characters over and over again. And if this sounds like you, then I have something that might interest you.
I wrote a young adult romance called “What Happens After You Confess Your Feelings to Someone?” It’s the tale of a high school student named Chloe with a major crush on a boy at her school named Mordecai. But at the same time, her good friend Simon has a crush on her.
Mordecai is complex and unpredictable. Simon is constant and reliable.
Who will Chloe choose?
That’s where the twist comes in.
The Style of the Story
This isn’t a traditional teen romance. When you start reading the story, the ending hasn’t yet been decided. Instead, when you reach a certain chapter, you’ll get to decide the ending. You choose who the main character ends up with. This puts you in the driver’s seat, and it helps make your reading experience more interactive.
Plus, if you enjoy rereading stories and you want to go back and reread this one, when you do, your second read can have a different ending. It’s like getting two stories in one. But, of course, if you want to read the same ending again, you’re free to do that, too.
What This Might Look Like
So, here’s how this might look. You’re reading the story, experiencing all the highs and lows that come with an intense high school crush. You’re reading about how Mordecai is constantly breaking Chloe’s heart with his seeming indifference to her feelings. (At the start of the story, Mordecai already knows that Chloe likes him. But he hasn’t shared how he feels about her.) And you’re watching Simon pick up the pieces.
You’re aware that Chloe is a sophomore at the beginning of the story and won’t be allowed to date until her senior year. You’re watching her senior year approaching. And you’re watching Chloe and Mordecai grow closer as he starts sharing secrets with her—secrets he only feels comfortable sharing with her.
And when you reach the chapter where you get to decide who Chloe chooses, you make a choice.
Maybe the first time you’re like, “Mordecai has put her through too much. I’m picking Simon.” And you read that ending. But then the second time you think, “You know, Mordecai and Chloe do have a special connection. I want to see what happens when they get together.” And so you pick that ending.
I think both endings are satisfying in their way. It all comes down to how you feel about the characters when you have to make your decision. Simon or Mordecai? Mordecai or Simon? It’s up to you.
But in the end, you don’t really have to choose at all if you don’t want to. You can read the story with one ending, then reread it with a different ending. Or you can reread it with the same ending every time.
Sound exciting?
If you think so, you might want to consider joining the What Happens After You Confess membership. That’s the only way to experience this story. When you join, you can start reading the main story. And when you reach the chapter where you get to decide who Chloe ends up with, you can read the chapters that correspond to the ending you select.

Another Benefit
If you do like to revisit your favorite characters over and over, you might enjoy another benefit of joining the membership—the special features. Although only the story is available right now, in the future I plan to upload content like a spotlight on all the main characters so you can learn more of their back story, along with deleted scenes.
This type of content will help you learn more about these characters and the world they live in, allowing you to get to know them on a deeper level and establish a stronger emotional connection to them. This, in turn, will allow you to have an even more immersive experience when you read. And by joining the membership, you’ll have access to the special features as soon as I make them available.
Final Thoughts
If you’re in the mood to discover a new high school YA romance that you can lose yourself in, “What Happens After You Confess Your Feelings to Someone?” is the story for you.
When you read it, not only will you be able to pick your ending. But if you feel like reading it again, you can choose a different ending the next time. And you’ll also have access to the special features that will allow you to immerse yourself in the story even more.
If this sounds exciting to you, I hope to see you in the What Happens After You Confess membership!
