Tisane Letters Policy

Effective Date: August 14, 2026

Welcome to the Questions and Tisane Tisane Letters Policy! I’m Ashley Cantave, and I’m excited to become your email dialogue partner.

In order to best serve you, I want to make sure we’re on the same page about a few things. This policy is an agreement between you (the “client”) and me so we’re both aware of our rights and responsibilities throughout the email dialogue process.

Note: I use the terms “letter” and “email” and related words interchangeably.

How It Works

My Tisane Letters services are for people 18 years old and older. If you’re younger than 18 years of age, I can’t work with you as a client.

If you are 18 or older and interested in my Tisane Letters services, start by filling out the form here. After receiving your application, I’ll email you to let you know whether I think we’re a good fit for each other. If I think we are, I’ll ask you to send me an email titled “[YOUR FIRST NAME]: Tisane Letters.” I’ll respond to it free of charge. This is to give you a sense of the caliber of letters you can expect to receive in the future.

Then, if you like what you get and want to move forward with a paid service, I’ll ask you (in a separate email) which service you would like to sign up for and then send you an invoice through PayPal for the cost. After I receive your payment, our email dialogue journey will officially begin! And please keep all Tisane Letters in the string “[YOUR FIRST NAME]: Tisane Letters.”

Note: You don’t have to have a PayPal account to pay the invoice.

Tisane Letters Services

My Tisane Letters services are paid for in advance for a set time period. Here are the possible time periods for which you can pay for services:

  • One (1) month

    • Ends the day before the same date on the following month. For example, if you pay for services on May 2nd, the last day of the period will be June 1st. If you pay on a date for which the next month doesn’t have the corresponding date, the period will end on the last day of the month. For example, if you pay for services on March 31st, the period will end on April 30th.

  • Two (2) months

    • Ends the day before the same date two months later. For example, if you pay for services on June 2nd, the last day of the period will be August 1st. If you pay on a date for which the second month doesn’t have the corresponding date, the period will end on the last day of the month two months later. For example, if you pay for services on July 31st, the period will end on September 30th.

  • Three (3) months

    • Ends the day before the same date three months later. For example, if you pay for services on September 5th, the last day of the period will be December 4th. If you pay on a date for which the third month doesn’t have the corresponding date, the period will end on the last day of the month three months later. For example, if you pay for services on March 31st, the period will end on June 30th.

Whenever you send me an email during the period for which you’ve paid, I’ll respond to it within two days (48 hours). You can send me as many letters as you like during this period. But please wait for me to respond before sending another letter in the Tisane Letters string.

If you happen to send me an email on the last day of your paid service, I can’t promise I’ll be able to respond to that email, though I will try. But I may be able to respond if you send me an email no later than the day before your paid service ends. In my last letter to you during this period, I’ll let you know it will be my last letter unless you would like to pay for a new service.

If you would like to continue corresponding, you can either mention that in one of your letters or send me a separate email letting me know which service you would like to pay for.

Because these are meant to be friendly emails, there are certain topics and behaviors that are off-limits. Payment Policy

When you agree to pay for Tisane Letters services, I’ll send you an invoice through PayPal for the cost. Your period for writing letters begins the day I receive payment from you. And while I will be the one writing you letters, all payments will be made to my company Questions and Tisane, LLC. Once the cost is paid, you’re free to respond to the free letter I sent you. I’ll respond to it within two days (48 hours).

Please note that when you submit a payment, you’re agreeing to this Tisane Letters Policy and the Privacy Policy. Please read them before submitting a payment.

Note: PayPal is a third-party payment processor. I’m not responsible for PayPal’s policies or privacy practices. I encourage you to read PayPal’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy before submitting a payment.

Cancellation

You can cancel your service at any time for any reason. If you do cancel, you’ll receive a refund in accordance with the “Refund Policy” below.

And if in the course of our correspondence I feel I can’t continue responding to your emails, I’ll let you know and give you a full refund (see the Disclaimer below for more information). But if the reason I can’t continue is because you’ve violated this policy, you’ll receive a refund in accordance with the “Refund Policy.”

Refund Policy

Here are the refund policies for the services I offer:

  • 10-day money-back guarantee for one (1) month of letter-exchanging

  • 20-day money-back guarantee for two (2) months of letter-exchanging

  • 30-day money-back guarantee for three (3) months of letter-exchanging

If you’re not completely satisfied with your experience before the period for a refund has elapsed, just send me an email at ashleyc@questionsandtisane.com and I’ll send you a full refund. Day 1 of the period begins the day I receive payment from you. No refunds will be given after that period has elapsed.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to me. Any information you share with me will be handled according to the Questions and Tisane Privacy Policy. Additionally, I will never disclose the details of our emails with anyone unless I have your permission or am legally obligated to do so.

To further protect your privacy, I’ll delete our emails from my account sixty (60) days after our last email is exchanged. If you sign up for a new service, I’ll wait to delete our emails until 60 days after our last email in the new period has been exchanged. If for any reason you don’t have a copy of our emails and would like one, please let me know before that 60-day period has elapsed.

Updates

From time to time, I may update this policy. The most current version will always be posted here and indicated by the “Effective Date” above. Please check back frequently to see if any changes have been made. I’ll notify you of any material changes with a notice at the top of this policy and through email, but I get to decide what changes qualify as “material.” If you continue to use the Tisane Letters services after the “Effective Date,” you’re agreeing to the new policy.

Disclaimer

In the course of our correspondence, you may feel inclined to share information about issues you may be dealing with. I don’t mind talking about personal matters, but just know that exchanging emails is not a substitute for coaching or professional counseling or therapy.

Throughout our email dialogue, if I ever feel that coaching, counseling, or therapy would be appropriate for you, I’ll let you know. And if I decide to cancel our email dialogue for this reason, I’ll send you a full refund.
